Large Business Program TEP’s Large Business program offers cash rebates to offset the initial costs of installing energy-efficient measures including lighting equipment and controls, air conditioning and heat pump equipment, motors and motor drives, compressed air and refrigeration. Customers also can propose innovative energy efficiency solutions through custom measures.
Small Business Program TEP’s Small Business program encourages contractors to install selected high-efficiency lighting, HVAC and refrigeration measures for TEP small business customers. The process will be web-based to make it easier for the customer and contractor to participate. All rebates will be paid directly to the contractor.
New Construction The best time to install energy-saving measures is during construction. TEP’s New Construction program offers rebates to help commercial building owners and developers incorporate energy efficiency in designs for new construction and major renovations. Cash rebates are available to customers who use an approved energy simulation program to evaluate and predict a building’s energy costs. Participants have the opportunity to collaborate with energy-efficiency experts from project start to finish and can qualify for rebates to help offset initial costs.
KEMA Services, Inc. is implementing these Programs on behalf of Tucson Electric Power. The Commercial Energy Solutions Program is paid for by Tucson Electric Power customers and approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission.
