New Construction Program Applications
The Commercial Energy Solutions New Construction Program offers rebates to business customers to help offset the additional expenses associated with designing a more energy efficient building. If the business customer decides to move forward with the new design, additional rebates are available to help offset the cost of purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment for construction of the new building.
Applying for the rebate is simple:
1. Submit a Pre-Notification Application (recommended, not required)
2. Design and/or construct a new energy efficient building
3. Submit a Final Application with documentation
4. Receive rebate within 6 weeks of submitting complete application

Eligibility Notes:
Only TEP non-residential customers are eligible for rebates under this program. Any energy efficient design work undertaken prior to August 6, 2008 is not eligible for a rebate. Energy efficient equipment purchased, contracted for or work conducted prior to August 6, 2008 is not eligible for a rebate.
Rebates for design work are capped at 50% of the cost of the additional fees required for the energy efficient design. The maximum design rebate is limited to $10,000 per design team per year. Rebates for energy efficient new construction are capped at 50% of the incremental cost of the energy efficient measures and limited to a maximum of $75,000 per project per year.
